Dagens Nyheter give rave reviews to Trio Trespassing's CD "Transitiory Frames" and refer to that review on the front page of Dagens Nyheter, 9 December 2009!
Trio Trespassing consists of:
Composer and electronica artist Jesper Nordin, percussionist Niklas Brommare and violinist Daniel Frankel.
"During the 00s, stretching the limits around art music has been eagerly discussed. Trio Trespassing moves beyond notation in Transitory Frames – into live moments where their music is composed or improvised in real time. Art music that really wants to make a noise. Stormy electronica, fragments of tangos and polskas, modernist drum solos and remixed roars from the audience in a musical fantasy that is constantly finding new passages and ways out. This is the sound of music that wants to take us into the future. Trio Trespassing's "Transitory Frames" is perhaps the most important Swedish CD this year. "
Jesper Nordin's music is starting to make a mark on the international music scene with its characteristic sound world and powerful emotional impact. This has led to him being selected as one of the composers to be published by Edition Peters as "Die Neue Generation". The music of Jesper Nordin, with its traces of traditional Swedish folk music, rock music and improvised music, is performed and broadcast throughout the world. His orchestral music has been performed by symphony orchestras such as BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Basel Symphony Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and others. His chamber music is regularly performed by ensembles like l'Itinerare, ASKO, San Francisco Contemporary Music Players and Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain.
Jesper Nordin is published by our own Edition Suecia. See ->>
