Music Network Records Group AB (MNW) is Scandinavia’s largest independent record company with more than 30 years of business, and one of the most established trademarks in the Scandinavian music industry. Today, the company has fourteen active record labels, a joint back-catalogue of over 1000 albums and three recording studios.
The extensive MNW catalogue holds an impressive part of the history of Swedish popular music, stretching from the early 70´s with its display of groundbreaking, progressive-rock artists, via the 80´s punk explosion, to the Swedish pop and rock phenomenon of the 90´s, and continues on into the dawn of the sounds of the 21st century.
The Music Network head office is situated in Stockholm. There are also sales/marketing offices situated in Norway, Finland and Denmark. The unique MNW set-up, including a centralized warehouse, offers a distribution service for the entire Nordic region.
Music Network’s distribution and licensing division represents international record labels in the Scandinavian territories. Among those labels are: Palm Pictures/ Ryko/ Hannibal, Music For Nations, Epitaph, V2, World Circuit, Nuclear Blast, Earache, Massacre, Metal Blade, Bloodshot, Nettwerk, Domino, Demon, Evangeline Recordings, Red House, VP Records, Greensleeves, Moonshine Music, OM Records, 75 Ark Entertainment, Jungle, Shifty Disco, Shoeshine, Dorado and KKV.
MNW has exclusive distribution deals with some of the most prominent labels in Scandinavia: Silence, Burning Heart, Kommunikation Skivor (representing Grapevine, Charly and Curb in Scandinavia), Start Klart, Bad Taste Records, Birdnest, Martian Records, Stupido Twins and Massproduktion.
In Östersund, in the north-west of Sweden, lies the Music Network warehouse currently with 8 fulltime employees. From Östersund all orders are shipped out throughout Scandinavia, which in turn enables MNW to offer deliveries to our customers in all the Scandinavian countries in one day.
