Adolphson, Olle
Quite a few might have been a little surprised that the great Swedish song-writer Olle Adolphson (1934-2004) had written a mass .A thoroughly composed mass for mixed choir a cappella. Mass in Swedish is the full title, composed in the early eighties, commissioned by a Danish choir, first performed in 1983.
Olle Adolphson’s Mass in Swedish has enriched the Swedish mass repertoire both liturgically and performance wise.
